Linguistics fascinates me, and I've loved Japanese for years, but I only started learning it seriously in January 2019. I've been a voracious reader and a grammar nerd since childhood, and now I work as a copyeditor and write fiction as a hobby. My goal is to be able to read and write in Japanese as fluently (and with as extensive a vocabulary) as I can in English.
