Hi Charlyn.

Are Tagalog and Cebuano native languages in Philippines?

Filipino is our national language. And, yes, Tagalog and Cebuano are native languages in the Philippines.

Hello! Filipino is what people in the Philippines are called. It is not a language :)) but if you meant between Tagalog and Cebuano, they're both pretty easy to learn.

The 1987 constitution designates Filipino as the national language and an official language along with English.

I'm reading the Malazan Book of the Fallen.

Is the Cebuano language intelligible with Visayan language? I mean are they somehow related or totally a different one? I have been to Cebu a dozen times and I have picked up several Cebuano words..

I think people from PH are very friendly and welcoming. It makes me want to learn your language already.

Do you think the people of a country can affect the willingness by visitors to learn the country's language?

I think so. When you meet someone you want to be closer with, you tend to want to learn the other person's language.
