Los parientes... Parents ? no t quite it is actually @Relative@ parents is Los padres (los pa dres)

Estoy Embarazada... Instincts say I am embarrassed but in reality it is I am pregnant (could be embarrassing to mix this one up) I am Embarrased is really Estoy avergonzado/a (es toy a ver gon tha do/a

In south america we actualy use "constipado" as "constipated" o.o

But I have 1..... "decadent", I always found odd how people have "decadent chocolate cakes". In Spanish we use "decadente" for things that are loosing their value or spirit (?) or something that's kind of old

We use it in the same way primarily it means somethingd declining in value or aging etc, but... For cake its meaning is indulgent. If a person is decadent they sprndoney on things they don't need just to have them whether they are old or useless or deteriorated...

Sometimes I'm guilty of these quick jumping to conclusions that certain spanish words would mean what I thought of them. Like for example "conocerte" and "ropa". I thought they mean "concert" and "rope", but they actually mean "meet" and "clothing", respectively.

Realizar (to perform, carry out) y actualmente (currently, now) are 2 important ones to know the differences.
