Welcome to the site. Swahili sounds so interesting. Is it hard to learn as a language?

Hi Alex, I am a Tanzanian and a native Swahili speaker, currently living in Dodoma, Tanzania. Swahili isn't hard. Most foreigners take a short time to learn how to speak and write it. Be sure to first start with the basics, then into how to construct simple sentences before embarking complex ones. Swahili tenses, grammar, and language structure aren't that hard! It simply needs your dedication and time, and you are well to speak to Swahili native speakers.
