Is there a difference between wearing a costume and doing cosplay? I've always thought cosplay was an anime thing.

In Thailand now. Next up Tanzania and Philippines.

Cosplay is short for costume play... so it may generally mean wearing a costume, though the definition from the net is specific about wearing costume of characters from movies and books especially Japanese characters like anime. It think the shortened term originated from Japan.

I was Poison Ivy when i still had a figure!! Fancy dress parties but not really cosplay but I am a Halloween girl I used to work as an MUA for an alternative photography company that did 'ugly' shoots dark/ strange/horror type thing so I love that sort of dress up and I used to make the costumes and sets too.

I used to play mobile legends before, my main character was just a support (Estes). But I am into PUBG now because almost of my friends play it and its realy hard to find a good teammate in mobile legends.

Just played it earlier. Found out there's new skin for Estes. Problem was even with a good internet, the ping is still too high.

I heart Freya. She's my fallback hero, when I can't use Natalia or Hanabi in a ranked game. These days, I've been practicing with other heroes, though.

My brothers are fond of cosplaying female characters and they're both tall, manly men. Lol. I had my daughter join once as Akazukin Chacha. :)

Sorry to be off topic in the off topic thread, but do they use heart as a verb often in the Philippines?

Not really. :) You're not surprised when you hear someone say "I heart Freya" but a year can also go by without anyone you know saying they "heart" something.

I hope so... haha...here are some pics of me in tinkerbel costume. I was the one who sew some parts of the dress and the shoes. Haha, it's the best that I can do so I was not nominated for best in costume.

I had to make a fairy costume from scratch for a photoshoot once I hand cut about 400 leaves in different shapes wired some of them so they could be bent into shape took forever to hand sew
