Hey, does anyone have any chrome plug ins that can change the color scheme of LT? I'm red green color blind and find the default scheme hard to use.

Please, please:

I'm not color blind like Clayton but these current colors are still hard to deal with. I'm planning on spending countless hours on the reading tool moving forward really would like to make it more usable. I prefer this to spinning up a local LWT.

Please allow us to change to easier on the eyes colors.

If you use chrome you can use a browser extension called 'stylish' . I made a very quick and hacky dark mode override here:

https://userstyles.org/styles/182540/language-tools-dark-mode

Feel free to use it as the base or I'll pick it up again later, there's a beige mod someone else has made for the reading tool there too.

It goes without saying that none of these are going to be officially supported. I don't mind maintaining / enhancing the dark mode one if people want to use it though.

The beige mod is nuked. I tried to install it and the user edited the code with an angry message directed at god knows who. I was able to change the CSS in the window, but I couldn't figure out how to make a stylish theme out of it.

Hey everybody! 😋

I just did a really short code using Dean Carroll's code. This is not a dark mode, this just changes the colors from the color coding system as you requested. I know you posted it 10 months ago jejeje but I'm a little new in the platform and I want to contribute... I saw no problems with the Dean's solution so I hope this works.

You can find the theme where, you have to install the same chrome extension Dean named:

Website Themes & Skins by Stylish | Userstyles.org

I couldn't add a preview screenshot in the page but here you have it :)

I don't know what to do with this js file.

On https://userstyles.org/ to click on "Install style as userscript" saves it on my computer, probably not it the right directory.

Unfortunately that's a 3rd party tool that we don't know much about. Maybe try to message holaIsabel?

I think it's more a matter of operating system.
