Why I'm starting to write in English?

Hello! My name's Clara and I am trying to train my abilities to write in English. I have studied this language for about three years in the past, during high school. Before a bad experience in English classes, I'd decided to give up language lessons e focused in my mother language, Portuguese.

In the meantime, I've started college at São Paulo University, in the course of Public Policy Management. There I've worked at a pre-university preparatory course, for teenagers in social vulnerability. Also, I'd the opportunity to be a People Management director, for about one year and a half. Before this experience, I'd decided to seek an internship in the public sector, since this is the focus of my course. Then, I've started working, as an internship, at the Municipal Innovation and Technology Secretary, from the city of São Paulo. I'm working there for about a year e three months now.

Now, I've started to notice a will to change so many things in my life, including my work. Because of this, I'm starting to practice my language skills, including English and Spanish. Moreover, I'm searching for complementary courses like geoprocessing systems, urban policies, and Right to the City, my biggest areas of interest.

Well, this is the reason why I'm starting to write in English, to improve my skills and achieve a better internship. I'll try to write a little text like this every day. Hope for the best!
