Heavy tax pressurizes Japanese society
On October 1st, the Japanese government will be enacting a new tax regulation. The commodity tax which is imposed on every items people purchase will be increased by 2%, from 8% to 10%. As far as I know, a tax imposed on purchase has been increased by 5% during a 10-year period. People are not sure about in which field the government invests the tax. I imagine most of them hope their tax will be used in a right way for social infrastructure and elderly people and children who need help in their life. As a Japanese, I also hope the government makes use of our tax to organize social structure and improve citizens life.
