Too many interests?

I get up at 5:45, do yoga, meditate and then draw while watching Peppa Pig in Japanese. Then I study Japanese for about an hour. After exercising and taking a shower, I'm usually ready to start working. I work as a Spanish teacher, blogger, podcaster, and youtuber and I love learning every day something about related topics such as audio and video editing, marketing, community management or SEO. Do I have too many interests?

I usually get caught by surprise when I answer the question 'what do you do?'. There is not an easy answer. But even more difficult it is to answer the question 'what did you do to get there?' Well, I kicked off studying psychology and doing an internship as a recruiter. Then I took a course on Spanish teaching and moved to Estonia, then back to Spain, then to England, then to the US and now I'm in Poland. It's worth mentioning that all that happened in less than five years. Again, do I have too many interests?

My family would definitely say that I do. They can't understand why I chose this life. I do think that I could accomplish a lot more in one single area if I could put the same level of effort that I devote to my many interests. Nevertheless, deep down I know I wouldn't be able to do it and still be as passionate and motivated. So no, I don't think you can ever have too many interests, you just have to learn how to manage them.
